The Brother XR-3774 sewing machine would be the next step-up for my sewing journey!

I recently purchased the Brother XR3774 Sewing & Quilting Machine about a few months ago and I’ve made small and large pillows, hot pads and even a desk mat so far with it and I LOVE this machine especially because I’m just beginning my sewing journey. It comes with a lot of accessories already but I did purchase a few extras like a 1/4″ seam allowance presser foot, thread director so that my needle thread sits horizontal rather than vertical. I also purchased the 110/18 needles for the machine as I use thick batting a lot in my sewing.
I’ve used the walking foot as well and love that it can make buttonholes and sew buttons. Haven’t played with that foot yet but looking forward to all the things I’ll be able to make with this machine!

It comes with 37 built-in stitches including blind hem, decorative and quilting stitches and a 1-step buttonhole, automatic needle threader and drop-in top bobbin. I also like the wide table and that it comes with 8 presser feet. At the time of this entry, it’s $159.99 on AZ, very reasonable price.
