Products I’m lovin’ with Felt Stitching

Reading Time: 6 minutesHi friends! Today’s post is all about the products I’m loving with felt stitching. I’ve recently started this...
I just picked up this die set last week, it's been out for awhile and I'm so glad Simon still has this in stock. I'm making ornaments for the holidays and I definitely want to add this and more plush dies to the collection. I chose dark brown felt for his body and the thread I'm using is Sulky Sampler Neutrals Cotton Thread. I love this 2-strand thread to stitch with, but DMC thread works just as well. For one of the deer, I used red pom poms that I bought from Dollar Tree and the other I used the nose die from the set. I also got hipped onto Aleene's Tacky Glue from Nichol Sphor's YT video where she was making felt ornaments. I had been looking for a good liquid fabric glue for ages and I've tried different ones but with mixed results. I really like the Aleene's brand and so I used it on the deer's antlers, spots, the nose and its ears. I let it completely dry before filling it with some polyfil. They turned so cute! I die cut enough to make 4 sets of deers and I have a great idea for the last two so can't wait to get started on them. Some of the links to the products I used are affiliate links which means that when you shop with them, I’ll receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Your support helps me run my small crafty business. Thank you so much!
